A little Christmas gift (25/12/2024)

A few weeks ago, I had invited a friend who is quite an interesting and multi-dimensional character himself, for dinner at my place. A print version of the "The Girl In Blue Dress" was around and caught his eye. He asked about it, and I explained the story. We had a interesting discussion about how that piece was to represent more than one experience, but all the moments of choice where something inside us is pulled by something, and whether to act on that strange feeling and go after a possibility that will pass otherwise. How such moments are like portals to different stories...

He recommended movie trilogy by a quirky and non-typical director whom I had never heard of before. I have watched one at this time, and I don't know what happens after the first movie. But that was enough to think of it as potentially a good Christmas gift. I hope you enjoy them!
